  • The engine is a MZ202 60 hp engine with electric starter.
  • Tennessee wood propeller.
  • Instruments: ASI, Engine RPM, HOBBS, EGT & CHT.
  • The seat tank holds 5 gallons of fuel.
  • 3 hp Electric pre rotator.

 

Performance Features

  • The Butterfly is centerline thrust.
  • The Butterfly has a horizontal stabilizer.

 

Materials

  • The airframe materials kit has pre drilled locator holes that will have to be re drilled to size and some of the tubes will have to be cut to length.
  • The cheek plates and various other parts are cut to shape and have undersized locator holes.
  • The front landing gear, landing gear support, and joystick are made from 4130 Chrome Molly steel and are heat-treated. All the parts are either powder coated or anodized in this kit.
  • The tail is made using composites.

NOTE: We are only selling complete kits, not parts. Each part was designed exclusively for the Ultralight Butterfly. Use of the Ultralight Butterfly's parts on any other vehicle is strongly discouraged.

NOTE: The undersized locator holes are pre-drilled for easy location and assembly. The Ultralight Butterfly can easily be assembled using common tools: Vise, drill press, belt sander, cutoff saw, SAE tools, etc
